Raymond K. Chu
Attorney
A dedicated San Francisco immigration attorney and member of the Law Offices
of Shamieh, Shamieh & Ternieden team, Raymond Chu is passionate about
helping clients navigate the
U.S. immigration process. Attorney Chu is drawn to the complex nature of ever-changing immigration
laws and employs a thoughtful, methodical approach—and a dose of
street smarts—to every case he takes on. He strives to view each
case from the opposing side’s point of view, then uses this to maximize
his clients’ chance of success. Attorney Chu is driven by his desire
to create a better, safer, and happier future for all. Attorney Chu is
also well versed in handling
family law matters,
civil litigation, and
business escrows.
Attorney Chu began his legal career as a law clerk for a judge. There, he gained invaluable experience in advocating for his clients and how to achieve successful outcomes on their behalf. Following his clerkship, Attorney Chu realized that his passion lay in immigration law. He went on to work as an associate at Van Der Hout, Brigagliano, and Nightingale, LLP, a firm that has built a nationwide reputation for winning tough cases. During his time at the firm, he developed and refined his approach to immigration cases and had the opportunity to work with some of the brightest minds in immigration law.
After leaving Van Der Hout, Brigagliano, and Nightingale, LLP, Attorney Chu joined the team at the Law Offices of Shamieh, Shamieh & Ternieden. At the firm, he strives to provide his clients with personalized legal services that are both competent and kind. He often seeks out creative solutions and is determined to see his clients through each stage of the immigration process.
Attorney Chu grew up in San Francisco before moving to Las Vegas, NV. There, he married; graduated law school; adopted his beloved late golden retriever, Pumpkin; and had his first child before eventually moving back to the San Francisco area where he had a second child. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
